Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1st December 2023 asking for information about bus lanes and cycle lanes.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“Please can you tell me how many bus lanes have been removed on roads run/controlled by TfL in each of the following years: 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023.

As you can see, that request was refused on costs grounds under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act. The costs exemption is therefore being applied to your request also for the same reasons cited in that request.
Should you wish to reframe your request to narrow its scope we will consider it accordingly. For example, if you restricted your request to the first question about bus lane removal more generally, then we may be able to source that information within the £450 limit.
