Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 19th February 2023 asking for information about Customer Service Assistant vacancies.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“How often do vacancies for customer service at stations open and how do I/where can I find the application to apply. Secondly how old do I have to be to apply?”
I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
In answer to your first question, there is no set routine for recruiting to these posts. Rather, recruitment campaigns will take place as and when required as dictated by the demands of the business. The most recent advert closed on the 10th January 2023, so there is unlikely to be another campaign for some time.

In answer to your last question, applicants for Customer Service Assistant jobs must be 18 years old or over.
