We answered

TfL Ref: 3096-1819

Thank you for your email received by us on 13 and 21 February 2019 asking for information about London Overground, Crossrail, IBus, ferry, and Tramlink announcements and their coded announcement files as well as London Underground line announcements produced under the Ketech company.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

The requested CD recordings are on their way to you. Please also find attached copies of the requested coded announcement files.

If you wish to make any secondary use of the material provided, you must first obtain the consent of TfL (which may be withheld) and, if consent is granted, a fee may be charged, in accordance with the terms of the Reuse of Public Sector Information Regulations 2005.

The iBus CD includes the announcements that are currently used on the iBus system. We currently do not plan to introduce any additional announcements, over and above those for operational reasons, for example, amend stop names if the road layout changes. Planned announcements would also be made up of these fragmented audio files, where possible. Please be advised that the iBus announcements are recorded as fragments; therefore you will find that the files you requested have been provided in this format.

Please note that while access to these announcements will be provided to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, you are not granted any rights to any of the intellectual property that exists in it or granted any permission to make secondary uses of it. TfL owns all intellectual property (including, without limitation, copyright) in the material supplied and will defend such rights

If you wish to make any secondary use of the material provided, you must first obtain the consent of TfL (which may be withheld) and, if consent is granted, a fee may be charged, in accordance with the terms of the Reuse of Public Sector Information Regulations 2005.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely
