Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 10 January 2020 asking for information about road accidents.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our Information Access Policy. You asked:

1. How many child cyclists became casualties on London's roads in 2018?

2. How many children died?

3. How many people of all ages were victims of "hit and run" in London in 2018?

7,410 people were injured in collisions involving a failed to stop vehicle in 2018.

4. How many of them died?

17 people died in collisions involving a failed to stop vehicle in 2018.

5. How many were child casualties of "hit and run" in London in 2018?

391 children aged under 16 years old were injured in collisions involving a failed to stop vehicle in 2018.

6. How many of the children died?

No children aged under 16 years old were killed in collisions involving a failed to stop vehicle in 2018.
