Request ID: FOI-3064-2324 Date published: 19 December 2023
You asked
There has been a large black hoarding at the top end of Park Lane for many years. When riding on the top deck of the bus passing the hoarding it is noted that there are usually just a couple of cars and a van parked there. I understand that the land in question is owned by TFL.
What is the purpose of this hoarding, which is most unsightly at the end of such an important Westminster Street and what is the land used for?
We answered
TfL Ref: FOI-3064-2324
Thank you again for your request which we received on 24 November 2023, asking about hoarding on Park Lane, on the central reservation between the South and North carriageways.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested. The Crown Estate owns the land in question. TfL is the highway authority only for the A4202.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
