Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 22 December 2024 asking for information about our TfL Go App.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You specifically asked: On this public board paper about TfL Go: https://board.tfl.gov.uk/documents/s20331/csopp-20230712-item07-TfL-Go-Update.pdf, an integration of the app with Santander Cycles and Oyster application is planned. There are no current plans to integrate Santander Cycles app functionality into the TfL Go app, although it is something that may be considered in the future. We are introducing new cycling journey planning features into TfL Go hopefully in the first half of this year and then may look again at how / if the app interacts with Santander Cycles.

Oyster card management functionality that is currently in the TfL Oyster & Contactless (O&C) app has now gone live and should be available to all users of TfL Go in the coming weeks. After this point we will decommission the existing TfL O&C app.

We did not have plans for a specific bus stop finder feature; however, we expect a new bus view in the app to go live in the first half of 2025. This will include the ability to move the map around to find different bus stops, search is not currently scheduled.

There’s no plan to merge customer accounts.
