Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 31 March 2022 asking for information about active electric vehicle (EV) charging points in London.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked: I am looking for a list of all the active EV charging points in London - along with their type (slow, fast, rapid), the location (post codes where they are installed), and the operator (Shell, Ubitricity etc.).
We don’t hold the information that you have requested for all of the active electric vehicle charge points in London installed by providers such as Shell, BP etc. TfL rely on data provided by Zap-Map to understand charge point delivery across London by the public and private sector. Please contact Zap-Map for the information you require. https://www.zap-map.com/. TfL have directly installed 300 rapid charge points (which are all purple – Rapid charge points on the map provided by Zap-Map). ZapMap doesn’t categorise ours specifically - they are shown as the charge point operator we installed with – i.e. bp or ESB – please see example below.
