Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 November 2023 asking for information about our London Dial-a-ride Fleet.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
You asked:
1.The current fleet size of the dial-a-ride service.
The current Dial-a-Ride fleet size is 246 vehicles as of 01 December 2023.
2.If there is an updated fleet requirement. If so, what is the new requirement and the reason for the change in requirement.
There is no updated fleet requirement as of 01 December 2023.
3.If there is any plan to renew or upgrade the fleet (e.g. replace existing fleet with electric vehicles).
There is currently no plan in place as of 01 December 2023, to renew or upgrade the fleet, although we are mindful of the Mayor’s strategy on emissions and intend to comply with this strategy, dependant on the necessary funding.
