Date published: 26 April 2018
You asked
I am a student from the University of Washington, Seattle. I have been researching various bike sharing scheme, particularly the Santander Bike scheme. I downloaded the trip history from your website. Do you have data on the bike stations? (number of bike docks in the station, installation date, de-installation date if the station has been taken down) This would allow me to accurately track the supply of bikes and compare it with the demand.

Please find attached the data which had been requested. Unfortunately we do not record the date a docking station was decommissioned, however you should be able to derive this information from the trip data you have accessed online by when the hires stopped at a decommissioned station.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the enclosed information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
