TfL Ref: 2966-2122

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 28 March 2022 asking for information about Cockfosters bus services.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm we do hold the information you require. Your request: Thank you for providing the information that sufficient bus services will match capacity from the housing developments. Could you please provide the bus review report or document that concluded that the existing bus services are at sufficient capacity.

In our previous response ref 2661-2122, we advised that TfL had reviewed forecast trip generation of the proposed development as part of the planning application process and that we had concluded that existing capacity of local bus services is sufficient to accommodate new demand generated by the proposed development, however we would continue to keep bus routes in the area under review.

There is no other separate TfL bus review report or document,  however an analysis of bus trip generation figures was included in the report by Pell Frischmann which is available on the London Borough of Enfield’s website using the following link to the planning pages:  https://planningandbuildingcontrol.enfield.gov.uk/online-applications/search.do?action=simple&searchType=Application under planning reference: 21/02517/FUL – the document was added on 6 July 2021 and can be found within the 195 documents associated with the planning application. The GLA Stage 1 report is also on Enfield website and includes TfL response to the application.

In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely
