Question 2: Can you please tell me how many Visitor Experience Team Managers are employed with by T.F.L?
Answer: We have 5 Centre Managers, who are currently focused on the Visitor Centres.
Question 3: How many people Visitor Experience Team Managers Manage?
Answer: On average each Centre manager has 7-8 staff reporting to them. This may vary in line with other accountabilities.
Question 4: Who they manage?
Answer: Visitor Centre Advisers and other Contact Centre Advisers depending on operational needs
Question 5: Can you please tell me the salary for a Visitor Experience Team Manager with T.F.L?
Answer: The TfL range for a Band 2 role is between £30,712 and £43,047
Question 6: Can you tell me where these positions are currently based?
Answer: These staff are currently based at Victoria, King’s Cross and Piccadilly Circus visitor centres. The Centre managers may also work from TfL offices at Pelham Street and Endeavour Square, and also work from home at times.
Question 7: Are these roles based at one location or do they move about?
Answer: They move about the multiple locations listed above.
Question 8: Can you tell me what the contractual weekly working hours are for a Visitor Experience Team Manager are?
Answer: All Centre Managers are on a standard 35 hour working week.
Question 9: How many days do they work on average per week?
Answer: 5.
Question 10: What are the shift times worked?
Answer: The managers work in line with Visitor Centre opening hours and other contact centre work. Early managers start from 8am and later managers start from 9.30.
Question 11: how long does a shift last?
Answer: Up to 8 hours.
Question 12: is overtime available?
Answer: Yes, in very exceptional circumstances.
Question 12: If so, what is the overtime rate?
Answer: This would be contractual-based. Dependent on hours worked and which days of the week, overtime rates can go from ‘time’ to ‘time + ¾’.
