You asked
Hello
Can you tell me:
a) how many buses in terms of numbers, operate and are under the jurisdiction of TfL;
b) how many of those buses, in terms of numbers, are ULEZ compliant?
c) how many of those buses, in terms of numbers are non- compliant with ULEZ?
d) of those buses which are non-compliant with ULEZ, who holds TfL to account for their non-compliance and is TfL issued with PCNs, as is the motorist with a non-compliant vehcile? If not, does TfL accept that it is abusing its power and that it considers itself to be above the law?
e) Of those buses that are non-compliant with ULEZ, why did TfL not take steps to mitigate their position, ensuring all buses were complaint before embarking on the route of ULEZ Expansion, thus affprding equal treatment to the motorist;
f) how many london undergound trains, in terms of numbers, operate and are under the jurisdiction of TfL;
g) how many london undergound trains, in terms of numbers, are complaint with ULEZ;
h) how many london undergound trains, in terms of numbers, are not compliant with ULEZ;
i) of those trains which are non-compliant with ULEZ, who holds TfL to account for their non-compliance and is TfL issued with PCNs, as is the motorist with a non-complaint vehcile? If not, does TfL accept that it considers itself to be above the law?
j) e) Of those trains that are non-complaint with ULEZ, why did TfL not take steps to mitigate their position, ensuring all trains were compliant before embarking on the route of ULEZ Expansion, thus affording equal treatment to the motorist;
k) how many fleet of cars and vans, in terms of numbers, operate and are under the jurisdiction of TfL;
l) how many of those cars and vans, in terms of numbers, are ULEZ compliant?
m)how many of those cars and vans, in terms of numbers are non- compliant with ULEZ?
n) of those cars and vans which are non-compliant with ULEZ, who holds TfL to account for their non-compliance and is TfL issued with PCNs, as is the motorist with a non-compliant vehcile? If not, does TfL accept that it is abusing its power and considers itself to be above the law?
o) Of those cars and vans that are non-compliant with ULEZ, why did TfL not take steps to mitigate their position, ensuring all cars and vans were compliant before embarking on the route of ULEZ Expansion, thus affording equal treatment to the motorist;
p) Of all cars, vans, buses and trains, that are non-compliant with ULEZ, would therefore be emitting harmful emissions that are detrimental to the health of people, particulary those claimed by the Mayor suffering from asthma; does the Mayor accept TfL is a contibutory factor to the unsubstantiated 4000 deaths claimed by the Mayor Sadiq Khan and not just the motorist whose vehciles are non-compliant alleged by TfL? If so, how does the Mayor mitigate his position in this regard, afterall whether emissions are generated by the motorist or TfL vehciles, the impact on public is no different. What is the TfL policy of holding itself to account? Please provide a copy thereof.

i) of those trains which are non-compliant with ULEZ, who holds TfL to account for their non-compliance and is TfL issued with PCNs, as is the motorist with a non-complaint vehcile? If not, does TfL accept that it considers itself to be above the law? j) e) Of those trains that are non-complaint with ULEZ, why did TfL not take steps to mitigate their position, ensuring all trains were compliant before embarking on the route of ULEZ Expansion, thus affording equal treatment to the motorist; Not applicable – see above.

The remaining two vehicles are owned by the London Transport Museum and are subject to the ULEZ charge if driven within the zone. These are used rarely to move items between the Museum Depot at Acton and the Museum at Covent Garden, and for towing exhibition equipment to events. n) of those cars and vans which are non-compliant with ULEZ, who holds TfL to account for their non-compliance and is TfL issued with PCNs, as is the motorist with a non-compliant vehcile? These questions are not asking for recorded information. However, as stated above, all buses operating services contracted by TfL meet or exceed ULEZ emission standards. In terms of the rest of our Road Vehicle Fleet, this consists of approximately 1000 vehicles supporting the operation of London Underground, London Overground, London Buses, Trams, the Elizabeth Line, and all of our other services. Out of these c1000 vehicles there are just two that are currently ULEZ non-compliant, both owned by the London Transport Museum. These are used rarely to move items between the Museum Depot at Acton and the Museum at Covent Garden, and for towing exhibition equipment to events. If either of the two TfL vehicles which are not ULEZ compliant are driven within the zone, the ULEZ charge would apply.
