Have any Penalty Charge Notices arising out of the new restrictions in the Rotherhithe Tunnel from February 2019 been overturned after appeal.
Yes. Since the Rotherhithe Tunnel restrictions have been enforced, there have been 162,191 penalty charge notices (PCNs) issued. There have been 44,265 representations made in challenge of the PCNs, of which 24,539 have been accepted. Of the rejected representations, 1,617 appeals were made to the London Tribunals and of these 252 were allowed.
