Thank you for your email received by us on 29 January 2019 asking for information about London Underground’s Piccadilly and Northern line services.

As mentioned previously in my acknowledgement, the following part of your request has been forwarded to Customer Services for a response: ‘Why do the train times never correspond with the tfl app? Why is the northern line so much more superior in service than the Piccadilly line?’.

The remainder of your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:

Can i have full details of train performance for the last 10 financial years

Who runs the Piccadilly and notherm line(names please) and what does each perso get paid?

We publish information on senior staff job titles, their responsibilities and salary ranges, including those representing the London Underground network, via the following link: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/senior-staff

Attached is a list of basic salaries for Piccadilly and Northern line full time and part time employees, the latter of which pro-rates salaries apply. All names as well as salary posts that are occupied by fewer than three people have been withheld in accordance with TfL’s obligations under the Data Protection legislation, as required by section 40(2) of the FOI Act. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.
