We answered

TfL Ref: 2897-1920

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 27 December 2019.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.

We included a group of bus routes that served the area around Hayes in the marketing initiative, one of which was the A10. Our trial sought to include bus routes that pass predominantly through the wider Hayes area; an outer London district with considerably low public transport use, relatively high household car ownership and scope for growing our customer base. The main factor was to select routes that passed mainly through this area rather than mapping out a cordon between roads. This selection process assisted us with a relating aim of trying to raise the proportion of journeys on sustainable transport such as buses.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
