Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 December 2019 asking for information about the date the Yellow Box Junction at Hanger Lane/Ealing Village (London W5) was introduced and if there was a Police Consultation/Traffic Survey carried out prior to installation.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.
Our records indicate that the first instance of a yellow box at this location was 27/04/2011 and the date this asset was reported as last remarked is 31/08/19.
Yellow box junctions do not require a Police consultation or traffic survey before installation.
