Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 07 December 2024 asking for information about bus fleet S3.

 

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. 

 

I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. You asked:

 

Route S3 was awarded with an EV contract to start in April 2024. There are still no EV buses present. Is the route still due EVs, have the plans changed or was the contract actually diesel buses and the announcement stating EV being a clerical error?

 

Post award the contract was varied to be operated by Existing Buses, instead of New Electric Buses.
