TFL's long lease of TFL sportsgrounds

I'm making an FOI enquiry regarding the sportsgrounds in Gunnersbury that are owned by TFL and currently run as Gunnersbury Sports and Social Club (W3 8JY) by a tenant that TFL leases the grounds to via a tenant and landlord contract. TFL have a long lease of the sportsgrounds land until (approximately) 2035. Please can you confirm this information is correct.

Thank you for your request which we received on 9 November 2023, asking for information about TfL’s lease of Acton sports ground.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold / hold some of the information you require.

According to our records, the lease on Acton sports ground expires on 4 September 2033.
