We are withholding this information under Section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act. The exemption has been applied as disclosure of this personal information you have requested could be a breach of the GDPR legislation, specifically the first principle of the legislation which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individual has no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.
This exemption to the right of access to information is an absolute exemption and not subject to an assessment of whether the public interest favours use of the exemption.

The bus in question, with registration number LK18AMU (vehicle VMH2466), was operating on route 4 on 17 November 2023. It’s recorded at Highbury Corner (stop code 11470) at 17:20:53 towards Blackfriars. Please see attached.
- A list of other buses (any information required to request video footage recorded by these busses) that crossed this bus route in the opposite direction within 50m of Highbury Corner while this bus was within 50m of Highbury Corner.
According to our records, there weren’t any route 4 buses operating in the opposite direction that could have been within 50m of the bus at that time. Please see a list of the other buses attached.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
