Dear Sir or Madam I am writing to make an open request for the information below pertaining to performance of the 492 bus service between Sidcup Station and Bluewater. Please can you provide me with pertinent information in regards to the requests below: Information request - 1 Please can you confirm the number of times, over the last 6 months, that a bus service failed to depart from Sidcup Station at the timetabled departure time. As part of this response, please can you express this as a number of failures, not as a percentage of all services and clarify if this includes for cancelled services as per item 2 below, and where possible state highlight consecutive failures. Also, please clarify what your measure, or metric, of 'On time' is. It would be ideal if you had figures on how late each service was, however, if this is not practical, it is not necessary Information request - 2 Please can you confirm the number of times, over the last 6 months, that a bus service from Sidcup Station arrived in good time prior to the timetabled departure time but was then cancelled and subsequently failed to achieve the next timetabled departure time. As part of this response, please can you express this as a number of cancellations, not as a percentage of all services, and where possible state highlight consecutive failures. Furthermore, if the information is available, please highlight times where the bus remained on stand only to depart on time for the next timetabled departure time leaving a timetabled departure time unserviced. The reasons for the cancellation are not necessary. Information request - 3 Please can you confirm the number of times, over the last 6 months, that a bus service from Bluewater was cancelled or curtailed and subsequently failed to achieve the timetabled arrival time at Sidcup Station and subsequently was not able to depart on the outward journey. As part of this response, please can you express this as a number of failures, not as a percentage of all services, and where possible state highlight consecutive failures. The reasons for the cancellation or curtailment are not necessary. Information request - 4 Please can you confirm the number of times, over the last 6 months, that Arriva have failed to provide a timetabled bus service from Sidcup Station. As part of this response, please can you make a special note of those services that were not provided during periods where the the timetable is for a bus once per hour i.e. late nights, Saturdays and Sundays etc.. Please can you express this as a number of failures, not as a percentage of all services, and where possible state highlight consecutive failures. The reasons for the missed service are not necessary. Information request - 5 Please can you confirm the number of times, where the information requested in items 1 - 4 above has applied to buses running in the opposite direction from the Bluewater departure point Information request - 6 Please can you confirm the total number of services that run from Sidcup Station departure point and Bluewater departure point, per day. I would like the above information to be provided to me as a simple text response, however, should it be necessary to include any tabulated data where it may be illustrative, that is fine. If there is any other corroborating information to illustrate the number of missed / cancelled / late services provided by Arriva on the 492 bus route, please do include where appropriate. If this information has been requested before, please can you refer me to the specific request / response as I was unable to find anything within your FOI responses database to date Many thanks and best regards
