Date published: 16 February 2023

You asked

We answered

TfL Ref: FOI-2838-2223

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 2nd February 2023 asking for information about the ‘See it say it sorted’ campaign.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked:

How many incidents of the type mentioned in the above have been reported by tube travellers in the last 12 months”.

I am afraid that TfL does not hold the requested information. This campaign and the number (0800 40 50 40) are operated by the British Transport Police (BTP) rather than TfL (see here for more information: https://www.btp.police.uk/police-forces/british-transport-police/areas/campaigns/see-it-say-it-sorted/).

You may therefore wish to direct your question to that body. FOI requests to the BTP can be made via its website here:

https://www.btp.police.uk/rqo/request/ri/request-information/

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely,
