Please give details of the number and total value of contracts awarded through the London Highway Maintenance and Projects Framework in each of the three regions (Central, North and South) between the framework starting in April 2021 and the end of January 2023?
Also, please indicate how many London boroughs in each of these three regions have used the framework to procure new work between pril 2021 and the end of January 2023? Please also give the number and value of contracts awarded in each of the three regions.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 February 2023 asking for information about contracts awarded through the London Highway Maintenance and Projects Framework.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
Please give details of the number and total value of contracts awarded through the London Highway Maintenance and Projects Framework in each of the three regions (Central, North and South) between the framework starting in April 2021 and the end of January 2023?
TfL has entered into a call-off contract with the Framework Contractor in each of the three core areas (Central, North and South) to deliver core cyclic and reactive maintenance activities. These call-off contracts provide opportunity for TfL to instruct task orders to cover additional maintenance works, capital renewal works and low complexity capital enhancement works. TfL has also entered into a call-off contract with the Framework Contractor in each of the three core areas (Central, North and South) to deliver conditions inspections to highway assets predominantly on the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN).

Also, please indicate how many London boroughs in each of these three regions have used the framework to procure new work between April 2021 and the end of January 2023? Please also give the number and value of contracts awarded in each of the three regions.
The London Highway Maintenance and Projects Framework (HMPF) was procured to deliver highway maintenance and other related services predominantly on the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN) by TfL.
Whilst opportunity has been incorporated within the Framework scope for London Boroughs to enter into a Call-Off Contract with the Framework Contractors, use of the HMPF is at a London Boroughs’ own discretion. Further, the particulars of the services required by the London Boroughs is specified in their own ensuing Call-Off Contract. As a result, TfL does not maintain records of specific numbers and the associated value of contracts awarded by London Boroughs in each of the three areas. Information pertaining to a specific London Borough should be sought directly from the London Borough.
