Please let me know detail of TfL specialist expertise and funding engagement to date with Brent Council South Kilburn car-free, tall building, Good Growth Area?
Given population of this public owned 45 ha being quintuple intensified from 6000 in year 2000 to 30,000 town scale population by 2041. What is such a new car-free London towns TFL wellbeing and life quality planned protections for how well and green it is being frame worked as a pathfinder highest quality local active travel town zoning?

Our ref: FOI-2832-2223/GH Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 February 2023 asking for information about South Kilburn car-free Good Growth Area. Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. Please find attached a copy of the GLA's response to LB Brent to the South Kilburn SPD, which appends TfL's comments. In our response to this, we commented about the lack of reference to buses in this SPD and noted the Council's application about wanting to explore the cycle hire network into this area but advised that there was no active proposals to consider this extension without contributions from scheme developers. TfL have been consulted on planning applications for developments coming forward in this location, and where appropriate, have requested contributions towards public transport enhancements and/or other design amendments to adhere to the policies and requirements within the London Plan, included those transport related, in order to support Good Growth. Please note that the Appendix states a separate response will be sent by TfL’s Commercial Development, however a further response was not sent as TfL do not have any asset management sites or property development sites in the South Kilburn area.
