You asked

Could you please confirm a road closure that was in place on 28th January 2022 at the entrance to A13 from A406 towards Thurrock at approx 23.45. On this date I followed a diversion which took me onto Royal Docks Road roundabout and then onto the A13 Newham Way towards Stratford which caused me to enter the ULEZ and I have subsequently received a Penalty which I wish to appeal. I have followed the advice of National Highways in completing this request as they have stated this part of the highway does not fall under their remit but is TFL controlled.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 9th March 2022 asking for information about a road closure on 28th January 2022.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

Specifically you asked:

Could you please confirm a road closure that was in place on 28th January 2022 at the entrance to A13 from A406 towards Thurrock at approx 23.45. I can confirm that there was a closure on the A13 on this date - on the westbound off slip at the junction with the A406. If you believe that you have been incorrectly issued with a Penalty Charge Notice then you can appeal the charge via our website here:
