Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. TfL Ambassadors go out to help our customers when our services are busier than usual. This could be during a planned event or when there’s a disruption that affects our network. There are two types of Ambassador:
Non-Licensed TfL Ambassadors give directions and information when services are busier than usual or the network is affected by travel disruption.
Licensed TfL Ambassadors help customers within London Underground stations - on gatelines and on platforms. A typical Licensed TfL Ambassador shift involves working within a station with operational colleagues.
The total number of Licensed TfL Ambassador shifts worked between October 2023 and October 2024 for all events and purposes is 7056.
