I would like to submit a new FOI request around broadband and WAN contract. At the time of my previous response from the organisation they mentioned that they where in the process of consolidating contracts around the ones i have requested. Please find my request below:
Contract 1
1. Current Lines (Analogue, ISDN VOIP, SIP etc) Provider- Please can you provide me with the name of the supplier for the contract.
2. Fixed Line- Contract Renewal Date- please provide day, month and year (month and year are also acceptable). If this is a rolling contract please provide me with the rolling date of the contract. If there is more than one supplier please split the renewal dates up into however many suppliers
3. Fixed Line- Contract Duration- the number of years the contract is for each provider
4. Type of Lines- Please can you split the type of lines per each supplier? PTSN, Analogue, SIP
5. Number of Lines- Please can you split the number of lines per each supplier? SIP trunks, PSN Lines, Analogue Lines
Contract 2
6. Minutes/Landline Provider- Supplier’s name (NOT Mobiles) if there is no information available please can you provide further insight into why?
7. Minutes/Landline Contract Renewal Date- please provide day, month and year (month and year is also acceptable). If this is a rolling contract please provide me with the rolling date of the contract.
8. Minutes Landline Monthly Spend- Monthly average spend for each provider. An estimate or average is acceptable.
9. Minute’s Landlines Contract Duration: the number of years the contract is with the supplier.
10. Number of Extensions- Please state the number of telephone extensions the organisation currently has. An estimate or average is acceptable.

Thank you for your email received on 23rd January 2019 asking for information about Transport for London’s broadband and WAN contracts.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. Your questions are answered in turn below:
Contract 1
Question 1: Current Lines (Analogue, ISDN VOIP, SIP etc) Provider- Please can you provide me with the name of the supplier for the contract.
Answer: Vodafone is TfL’s primary provider of Voice lines.
Question 2: Fixed Line- Contract Renewal Date- please provide day, month and year (month and year is also acceptable). If this is a rolling contract please provide me with the rolling date of the contract. If there is more than one supplier please split the renewal dates up into however many supplier
Answer: Initial Term - October 2019 (with option to extend for 12 months)
Question 3: Fixed Line- Contract Duration- the number of years the contract is for each
Answer: The contract was issued for 3 years from October 2016 with an option to extend for 12 months to October 2020.
Question 4: Type of Lines- Please can you split the type of lines per each supplier? PTSN, Analogue, SIP
Answer: This is provided in answer question 5 below.
Question 5: Number of Lines- Please can you split the number of lines per each supplier? SIP trunks, PSN Lines, Analogue Lines
Answer:
Vodafone – PSTN - 45 E1 Qsig trunks
Daisy – SIP – 2 trunks
BT – Circa 4500 PSTN/ISDN lines (13 E1 Qsig trunks)
Contract 2
Question 6: Minutes/Landline Provider- Supplier’s name (NOT Mobiles) if there is not information available please can you provide further insight into why?
Answer: Vodafone is TfL’s primary provider of Voice calls
Question 7: Minutes/Landline Contract Renewal Date- please provide day, month and year (month and year is also acceptable). If this is a rolling contract please provide me with the rolling date of the contract.
Answer: Initial Term - October 2019 (with option to extend for 12 months)
Question 8: Minutes Landline Monthly Spend- Monthly average spend. An estimate or average is acceptable.
Answer: circa £12k/month (calls) and circa £16k/month for lines
Question 9. Minute’s Landlines Contract Duration: the number of years the contract is with the supplier.
Answer: 36 months + 12 months
Question 10: Number of Extensions- Please state the number of telephone extensions the organisation currently has. An estimate or average is acceptable.
Answer: Approximately 30,000
