Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 6th March 2022 asking for information about spending on taxi fares for London Underground staff.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked:

I can confirm that we hold the information you require. The total cost for unscheduled taxis for 6th March 2022 due to the engineering works was £558.95. This was in relation to three depots - Hainault, Loughton, and Leytonstone. The spending of this money was vital for staff movements during the course of the line closure to ensure the rest of the network was able to operate as planned.
