TfL Ref: 2783-2122
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 2 March 2022 asking for information about the speed limit on Constitution Hill, London. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested.
TfL is only the traffic authority for Constitution Hill for 32 metres at its western end to the ceremonial gates (and is a GLA side road where we are not the highway authority).
The section mentioned below falls outside of Transport for London Road Network and would be the responsibility of either the Royal Parks or Westminster City Council (unfortunately we do not have a definitive map showing the boundaries); however a quick Google search suggests it may be Royal Parks: https://publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm200102/cmselect/cmtlgr/557/557ap106.htm
Below is a map showing TfL’s extent (shown by red lines) and the area you asked about (shown by a green dotted line).
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
