You asked
Dear TfL
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please could you supply the following information:
(Background to my request: The report I am asking about is the "Impact of Low Traffic Neighbourhoods in London, September 2023. On Page 2 of the report, item 5, section "In-depth London Borough studies", there is a claim: They (LTNs) enable young people to be active. 20% of people cycling at peak times in parts of the Dulwich Village LTN are children, significantly above the London average".)
20% of how many? When was this research collected? Who carried out this research? Where was it checked and published?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3 November 2023 asking for information about Dulwich Village LTN.

But my understanding is the FOI is asking for clarification on the stat on p2 right hand side 5. They enable young people to be active…20% of people cycling at peak times in parts of the Dulwich Village LTN are children, significantly above the London average.
This statistic you are asking about - ie the statistic on p2 right hand side item 5.: They enable young people to be active…20% of people cycling at peak times in parts of the Dulwich Village LTN are children, significantly above the London average - comes from the following report by Transport for Quality of Life, and can be found here: http://transportforqualityoflife.com/u/files/1_CycleDiversity_June2021.pdf. Table 2, page 9 shows the % children among people on cycles as 23%.
