Please can provide me the figure of total current legal expenditure in defending the A10 Bishopsgate challenge. Please note I do not wish to know if cost awards have been agreed or if money has been received.

Thank you for your request received on 29 January 2023 asking for information about the A10 Bishopsgate challenge.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.

The total external legal costs in the UTAG/LTDA Bishopsgate judicial review matter is £182,263. The court has ordered that our costs are to be paid by UTAG and the LTDA.
