Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for the criteria that were used on all the routes that are part of the trial of colour coded buses in Hayes Middlesex and the criteria being used to measure the success of this campaign.
Our scheme to make services and the places they serve more visible was focused around Hayes; a broader part of London where population has been growing. We are aware some parts of London have large developments planned in or around them which will attract more people. The Hayes area will also benefit from Crossrail. Rather than conducting population modelling, we based the trial on assumptions about the likely impacts of these large scale developments.
The success criteria for this trial is the generation of additional patronage and revenue.
