Request ID: FOI-2739-2122
Date published: 28 March 2022

You asked

Dear TfL, In 2011/2012, a series of London Accessibility Videos were produced by TfL. They were originally found on the TfL YouTube page. Please may you provide a link to all of these videos. I would also be grateful if you could clarify the background music used in the "DLR & London Overground Accessibility Video (St Pancras International to Excel London)". Further to this, I would be grateful if audio files of the iBus Announcements could be shared, which is intended for personal and enthusiast use only. Thank You.

TfL Ref: FOI-2739-2122

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 27 February 2022, asking for information about accessibility videos & iBus announcements.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

Please may you provide a link to all of these videos. I would also be grateful if you could clarify the background music used in the "DLR & London Overground Accessibility Video (St Pancras International to Excel London)".

We believe this is the video you're talking about : https://youtu.be/1IBjwGvwuUY
This was produced by an independent agency and is no longer publicly available on the YouTube site. Unfortunately we have no records of the music used.

Further to this, I would be grateful if audio files of the iBus Announcements could be shared, which is intended for personal and enthusiast use only.

Your email account will be added to the permissions list to access the iBus audio recordings and you should receive an email with a link enabling you to access the folder (please check your spam folder if this is not visible).

Upon opening the link you will be asked to verify your account which will generate a code to be send to your email address which is only valid for 15 minutes (you may need to check your spam folder). Once that code is entered you will have access to the relevant files which can then be downloaded. Should you encounter any difficulty with this please contact [email protected].
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely
