TFL Rail Stations and all neighbouring stations
Request ID: FOI-2702-1718
Date published: 21 March 2018
You asked
Dear Transport for London,
Could you please provide me with a CSV file of all TFL operated rail stations for underground, overground, DLR, TFL Rail, etc. along with the zone the station belongs to and also all neighbouring stations that can be accessed by a single hop on the rail network. Such a data structure is commonly referred to as a graph database where stations are 'nodes' and tube lines are 'edges'.
For example, travellers at Elephant & Castle station can access Borough, Kennington and Lambeth North in a single 'hop'. Travellers from Borough can access Elephant & Castle and London Bridge in a single 'hop'.
Please can this data be provided in a machine readable format such as a CSV file with unique keys for each station name.
Thank you very much for your time

We do not hold the information you have requested in the specified format you require. However you can find the TfL network map here, and on the map you will find station zones and information on which stations are ‘one hop’ away. Please note that in accordance with s21 we are not obliged to try and supply the requested information if it is already accessible to you elsewhere.
If this is not the information you are looking for, please feel free to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely,
