Our ref: FOI-2693-2122/GH Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17 February 2022 asking for information about personal injury collisions. Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. In 2020, 274 children aged 0-15 years old were injured in collisions involving a hit & run vehicle. 26 were recorded as serious, 248 slights and no fatalities. We do not have full years data for 2021 yet, this will be available later this year. The latest data we have for 2021 is to end October: For Jan-Oct 2021: 284 children aged 0-15 years old were injured in collisions involving a hit & run vehicle. 28 were recorded as serious, 256 slights, and no fatalities.
