TfL Ref: FOI-2686-2122
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 22 February 2022, asking for information about Covid-19 related absences in Compliance, Policing, Operations & Security directorate (CPOS).
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. Unfortunately, we don’t hold the information you require. You asked;
Can you please tell me the total number of surface transport CPOS operations officers that have had family leave time off for dependants authorised as per the work life balance policy for a covid-19 related matter and have received no deduction in pay or annual leave entitlement from 1/1/2020 to 20/02/2022.
Our records indicate that seventeen Operations Officers in CPOS were absent from Jan 2020 to 20 Feb 2022 under one of Covid-19 absence categories that were most likely to be used for special family leave. However we are not able to accurately confirm whether they were granted special paid leave for dependants or other household members due to Covid-19. Our reporting process changed throughout the pandemic and this type of absence may have been granted and recorded under another absence code. I am sorry we can’t answer your specific question.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
