“Could you let us know what is located behind the door in the image attached at Lancaster Gate tube station? If you have any additional historical information about why that door was put there, and for what it is used and has historically been used, that would be much appreciated. “
I can confirm that we hold the information you require. The door opens to a non-public area housing railway-related equipment.
