Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 16 February 2022, asking for information about TfL’s Highways Maintenance Contract.

The Central Area was awarded to Ringway Infrastructure Services; the North Area was awarded to a joint venture between Tarmac Trading and Kier Highways; and the South Area was awarded to FM Conway. The bidders were as follows:

Start date is 1 April 2021 for a duration of 8 years with an option to extend the framework by up to a further 4 years at our discretion.

We may extend the framework beyond the initial term of 8 years for up to 4 years at our discretion.

No decision has been made at this stage.

The senior officers (outside of procurement) responsible for this contract are the Director of Project and Programme Delivery and the Director of Network Management.
