We answered

TfL Ref:  2671-2324

Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 24 October 2023 asking for information about London Underground’s Piccadilly line services, following your previous request for information, TfL reference: 2334-2324.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for:

the comparison between the Heathrow line and the Rayners Lane / Uxbridge line as there seems to be a significant difference in the services.

Please could I also have the below information around the Rayners Lane/Uxbridge lines WB / EB at peak times

Please see the attached spreadsheets, including explanatory notes for the provision of this data.

Initially, you had asked for data for ‘around the Rayners Lane/Uxbridge lines”, hence we have included two sets of data; one with the frequency of trains, as recorded by our Hillingdon measuring point (to cover Piccadilly line trains going all the way to Uxbridge), and another as recorded by the South Harrow measuring point, which records trains finishing at Rayners Lane or continuing to Uxbridge.

We would also like to add that the Raynes Lane to Uxbridge section of the line has a less frequent Piccadilly service, as this part of the line also shares its track with the Metropolitan line, which would impact upon the number of services that can be operated on this stretch of the network throughout the day.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely
