Can TFL please confirm what has been done after February 2021 for this issue? this issue has increased after February 2021 so any data before that might not be a reasonable answer. Thank you

TfL Ref: 2669-2021 Thank you for your request received by us on 18 March 2021 asking for information about London Underground’s Jubilee line. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for the following: Jubilee Line has started to make significant screeching noise when it travels from Canning Town to North Greenwich and enters the tunnel. The other side of the line still makes bearable noise but this one is impacting residents living all over the place. Can TFL please confirm what has been done after February 2021 for this issue? this issue has increased after February 2021 so any data before that might not be a reasonable answer. In reference to the above timeframe mentioned in your request, the activities which have been carried out since February 2021 are listed as follows: February • Inspection carried out by the lubrications team. • The lubrications team identified an electrical fault with the Friction modifier - 09/02/2021. • Electrical fault resolved by the power team - 21/02/2021. • The lubrications team adjusted the toe friction modifier to ensure it is working optimally - 25/02/2021. March • Re-instated a decommissioned track lubricator - 25/03/2021. • A request has been made to extend the scope of the grinding program to go beyond the properties where noise is a concern - 24/03/2021 • In properties measurements to be arranged in an apartment block. We would also like to add that a meeting took place with the Environmental Health Officer for Newham Council to discuss these matters.
