Dear TfL,
I'm a bus enthusiast travelling with TfL very frequently. Last month there was a new route 733 started running by Tower Transit due to the closure of Northern Line. May I ask for the onboard announcement of route 733, route 718 which has been withdrawn at the end of last year, and route 969 which is the last heritage of mobility routes in London. Please be aware that in the online folder previously shared with this email address, these information was not contained (except the service change information announcements used onboard route 733). May I ask you to update your online folder to make it exactly the same as onboard one (many of the voice intoations are different from onboard ones, including 'Streatham Station', 'Eltham Station', etc.) or to kindly provide the requested information via email attachments. Thank you for your email which we received on 18 February 2022 asking for iBus recordings for bus routes 733, 718 and 969. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm TfL does hold the information you require.
We have added the requested iBus recordings to the file that you have already been given access to.
Therefore, in accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the recordings as they are already accessible to you elsewhere.
