Thank you for your email received by us on 24 March 2017 asking for information about delays on the Piccadilly line.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:
I am still waiting for TFL to *write to* me stating the compensation it
will receive for the 2nd quality wheels supplied for the Piccadilly line
trains.
We suffered on the Piccadilly line due to fewer trains as the wheels
supplied by China were of inferior quality and had to be replaced
Please note that there is no issue with the quality of wheels. Any delay was caused by seasonal leaf fall. We are currently working to reduce thie impact of this for the next year.
