Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 15 February 2022 asking for information about costs awarded at the Environment and Traffic Adjudicators Tribunal.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we do hold the information you require, however we are not obliged to provide you with the requested information under section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act, as it is reasonably available by other means. All appeal decisions are entered on a statutory register which is available on the London Tribunals website- https://www.londontribunals.gov.uk/. Additionally members of the public can view the register in person at the Tribunal offices.
All cost claims are subject to a hearing by the adjudicator and all decision outcomes are entered in the same register as all other adjudicator decisions. Using the above link to the London Tribunals website you are able to take the following steps- choose the Register of appeals – access the appellant portal – search statutory registers – click the ‘search’ link under Environment and Traffic Adjudicators and then search by enforcement authority and date range. This will bring up a filtered list of cases heard by the London Tribunal which you can view individually for information on awarded costs.
