Details of the vehicles used to service London hire trial e-bikes and e-scooters

I request that TfL provide the following information:
1. The total number of vans used by Tier, Dott and Lime to service the hire trial e-bikes and e-scooters in London (both owned by those providers and those owned or operated by self-employed subcontractors);
2. A breakdown of that total into the number of fully electric, hybrid and diesel/petrol vehicles;
3. The make and model of those vehicles.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18 January 2023 asking for information about vehicles used to service London hire trial e-bikes and e-scooters.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require – we do not have any information relating to vans used by Tier, Dott and Lime. This information would be held by the three operators.
We can however, advise that:
The three operators of the London e-scooter trial use a fully electric, zero emission fleet for their operations
TfL only manages contracts with these operators for e-scooters and not for e-bikes which are unregulated
