Could you let me know of any currently single decker routes that will convert to double decker buses in the near future? Thanks

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 24 October 2023 asking for information about buses.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

The only Single Deck route due to convert to Double Deck is Route 289.  This is scheduled for 31 August 2024, but the exact timing may change.
