Thank you for your request which we received on 23 October 2023, asking for a copy of the Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) for the ULEZ expansion scheme.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
TfL followed the required Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) process and the DPIA is published on the TfL website at: https://content.tfl.gov.uk/london-wide-ulez-final-dpia-november-2022.pdf. It sets out how the scheme operates, in accordance with data protection legislation and in particular how we minimise data collection from ANPR cameras, how data will be used, how we keep it secure and how it may be shared.
