Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17 March 2017 asking for information about the cost of producing the walking maps to show the number of steps and minutes it takes to walk between Tube and National Rail stations in zones 1 to 3.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
The cost to gather data and typeset (including a limited print run) four versions of the map (Zones 1 & 2 walking times and steps and Zones 1 to 3 & National Rail walking times and steps) was approximately £7,720.
We’re delighted with the popularity of the maps which have been downloaded more than 320,000 times.
