Hi, I would like to know the location of cameras for ULEZ at the attached plan on Romford Road. Please confirm how many cameras are installed while entering the zone. Are they mounted on traffic signal poles or on Street Lighting Columns or on standalone posts. I am happy to consider it as FOI request if it can be responded as a general enquiry.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 11 February 2022 asking for information about ULEZ cameras.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.
We have not finalised the total number of cameras for the scheme as we are still in the build phase. However, as at 14 February 2022 we had 880 ULEX cameras installed. This total encompasses cameras mounted on to existing infrastructure such as traffic signals and lamp columns, as well as new pole sites.
The location of cameras for the extended zone is except from disclosure under Regulation12(5)(g) of the EIR, the exception that can apply where release of information would have an adverse impact on the environment.
