Could you please let me know what is the process for selecting recruitment agencies to supply to TFL?
Following EU wide procurement exercises, TfL set up framework arrangements with a small number of recruitment agencies to provide temporary and permanent recruitment services. Typically, the process involves suppliers that have expressed an interest being asked to complete a selection questionnaire setting out their credentials to provide the services. Those suppliers short-listed are then requested to submit a tender and these are evaluated against commercial and technical criteria.
The current arrangements are in place until June 2018 for Admin/Professional and IT categories and until at least 2019 for Engineering categories. TfL will advertise these contract opportunities in Official Journal of the European Union and on Competefor, as appropriate when the process commences for re-tender. Suppliers will be able to register their interest online and download tender documents for each opportunity. The selection methodology and submission process varies for each procurement and is described in the tender documents.
