You asked

The scheme was introduced in April 2019, and by end August, TFL had made £41 million in levies and charges. how much of the £41 million is due to levies and how much has been raised by charges.

Thank you for your email which we received on 17 November 2019 asking for information about ULEZ charges.

Your request for information has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:

I am also formally making a Freedom of Information request of TFL in order to ascertain how much of the £41 million is due to levies and how much has been raised by charges.

Until 31 August 2019, of the £41 million, a total of £10.6 million was raised in revenue from Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued, and a total of £30.7 million was revenue raised from charges.
