I am writing to you to enquire about the new 20mph speed limit through the a503 Camden Road, junction of Hillmarton Road. Please could you kindly update me on when the speed limit sign post changed opposite the garage please leading onto Pankhurst Road.

Thank you for your request which we received on 19 October 2023, asking about the 20mph speed limit sign on the A503 Camden Road.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:

Please could you kindly update me on when the speed limit sign post changed opposite the garage please leading onto Pankhurst Road.

The new speed sign was introduced in March 2023, but the new speed limit didn’t come into force until 1 April 2023.
